How To Assemble Boman Kemp Basement Window Easy Buck™.

FIRST: Separate the sill and jamb parts. Jambs are the same for both sides, with female slots and attached buck nuts. Head sill is the same on both the top and bottom, and has a male tab.

Using a pair of pliers (or hammer) roll the ends of the joints end slightly to allow proper overlap of the sill.

NEXT: Lay the jamb on a flat surface and make sure the corners of the jamb are tucked slightly to allow for overlap of sill.

Tilt sill at a 45 degree angle and insert tab into jamb slot using downward pressure, while simultaneously pulling sill to a vertical position.

Repeat process on opposite end of jamb using the remaining sill.

Place jamb on top of sill and verify that the buck nuts are aligned on same side to ensure proper buck assembly.

1. First, use the end of a mallet to strike the center outside sill, close to tab, for alignment with slot.
2. Second, using a mallet, strike on top of the buck on both sides aligning jamb edges with slots.
3. Third, ensure that the tab is completely through the slot with barb overlapping and locking pieces.
4. Fourth, bend tab outward until completely flat.

Repeat on opposite end of buck.

Lift and rotate entire frame and repeat these steps again making sure all four corners are properly seated.

The Boman Kemp Basement Window Easy Buck™ is now ready for wall placement.
