How To Install Escape Ladder, Safety Grate and Lexan Cover

How to install Boman Kemp Escape Ladder, Safety Grate and Lexan Cover on Basement Egress Window Well.

Place ladder in desired location in the well and screw 2 self tapping, metal screws into the holes provided. The ladder is now permanently affixed as per code requirements.

Place Safety Grate over window Well opening to prevent accidental fall in. The Grate sits on top and can be slid off to remove.

1. First, remove protective plastic sheet from Lexan Cover.
2. Locate Velcro strips and place one side on the Safety Grate and secure other side firmly on Lexan Cover.

Lexan Cover’s will keep animals, debris. and water from entering Window Easy Well™.
