The nylon mounting strip attaches to the side of our steel bucks, replacing the steel area well mount. Since the mounting strip is made of nylon, it breaks conductivity between the steel buck and the steel area well. This ensures that the house is not grounding through the buck and area well, thus eliminating accelerated rusting.
